Vision for a Sustainable World

My vision for a sustainable world is one where there are no non-renewable resources used for energy or mass production. The main sources of power would come from solar, wind or water generators and oil and coal based fuels would be rare if not completely gone. This could be achieved by large areas of land dedicated purely to wind and solar farms around the country and world. Hydroelectric plants could be placed all around and in the world's largest and most powerful rivers, streams, waterfalls and dams. Everyone, including myself can help this vision become a reality by cutting back on our usage of fossil fuels and investing in either solar panels and(or) a wind turbine to power our household or neighborhood. We can also help in smaller ways simply by trying to carpool and only use our cars when we need them, biking to work or school is a great example with the added benefit of exercise.
